Sukhavati POC module accepted by the Web3 Foundation
The Web3 Foundation has officially accepted Sukhavati Network’s PoC (Proof of Capacity) Module as a qualifying grant application as of late, the grant was said to be a part of giving back to the community and supporters of the ecosystem. The grant will help build Sukhavati’s decentralized gateway that covers both Web 3.0 and Web 2.0 storage services, allowing unified data storage, retrieval, and management on Web 3.0 applications.
The Sukhavati PoC module will join the 10th wave of qualifying applicants; there have been 18 eligible applicants on the 10th wave, including the Sukhavati Network.
The PoC module is an algorithm designed for its consensus layer, the layer that runs the whole blockchain network. The module has proven its efficiency and its significance in many applications. Once initialized, the system will only require a small amount of computing power while maximizing and ensuring high-security consensus, this will allow Sukhavati to achieve its long-term goal of security, fairness, and scalability in user servicing.
Meanwhile, Sukhavati Network is also expanding the Proof of Space (POS) and PoC Networks’ computing capability in the consensus layer, exemplified through the CHIA Network. CHIA Network has become the major POS/POC Network in just a month, with over 50 times more computing capacity than that of all other POS/POC networks combined.
In terms of the company’s roadmap for the future, the overall design scheme of the PoC module will be completed in June. The implementation of the preliminary scheme will be completed in July, and the corresponding test network will be launched. The team may also update the Web3 Grant application content depending on the development of the market and the best interests of the whole Sukhavati Network.
