Sukhavati Network Stands Out From Other PoS/PoC Projects in Terms of Mining
Sukhavati Network is a highly decentralized cloud service network that has a specialization on storage. Sukhavati Network aims to motivate and inspire users as well as incentivize the development of distributed storage, focusing on the expansion of application scenarios for the Web3.0 launch.
Sukhavati has a lot of advantages when it comes to its highly decentralized features that allow users to utilize the overall use of the platform when it comes to storage and mining.
The PoC consensus mechanism of Sukhavati Network uses only a bit of computing and IO resources to ensure a high-security consensus. This maximizes the use of the computing and IO resources that allows it to be further used for other activities.
The company also promotes an efficient ecosystem with the EPoSt mechanism by utilizing the advantages of the hardware-based Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs). This is 100+ times faster in verification, unlike others in the industry that are using cryptographic ZKP-based methods.
Aside from that, Sukhavati Network enables inclusivity by allowing multiple devices on the network to participate in storage mining and give decentralized computing resources.
Just like what is mentioned above, Sukhavati operates in a 3-Consensus Layer, including Proof-of-Capacity (PoC) and Efficient Proof-of-Spacetime (EPoSt) for its consensus mechanism. PoC maintains the high-security consensus by using a small number of resources after the Seal operation.
When it comes to storage, EPoSt utilizes a small number of computing resources to make sure that the storage is fully verified and uses the chip’s highly secured feature while completing the consensus process, with two challenges such as LivingPoSt and WinningPoSt. Sukhavati’s storage nodes can gain storage rewards by completing the challenges.
Moreover, the company’s storage aims to develop an efficient way to build decentralized data access that covers the Web3.0 and Web2.0 storage which link many protocols and provide distributed storage, retrieval, and management service for the Web3.0 applications, which makes it different from other storages.
Filecoin developed a solution to build a decentralized storage infrastructure by using mathematical methods to maintain a high-security consensus. However, the verification process consumes a lot of computing power which results in expensive costs, making it less efficient and doesn’t accommodate the average miners.
The Sukhavati Network allows multiple hardware devices like PoS/PoC and other storage mining to establish and join the network. The team’s storage verification mechanism accommodates several small devices that participate in the storage mining. Unlike in Filecoin, Sukhavati requires less hardware, making it accessible to average miners.
Sukhavati aims to accommodate more miners and hardware in the ecosystem to join the network rather than wasting a significant amount of resources. Filecoin mining could be expensive, the average miners are losing access to complex cluster mining solutions and customized hardware. On the other hand, Chia Network’s number of participating devices is much lower compared to Filecoin, which means that it was unnecessary to increase the price of hard disks.
Filecoin, Arweave, Storj and most of the storage projects are still in the process of development and improvement. Filecoin is suitable for cold storage while Arweave’s role is to store high-value-density permanent data and Sukhavati will act as storage in the Web3.0 ecosystem.
This is what makes Sukhavati different from other storage projects, it aims to provide the best services but at the same time, while seeing the current status of the storage ecosystems and the problems and role gaps, the company believes that every ecosystem has a big role to fulfil in the big and hot ecosystem.
